Who is Matt LaBosco ?

My name is Matt LaBosco and I have invested the last 20 years of my life as a personal trainer, corrective movement specialist, bodyworker, teacher, instructor, and performance life coach. Over the years, it has been my joy seeing people come in and leave better.

My journey began as a three sport athlete undergoing 5 orthopedic surgeries before the age of 22 and managed a slew of other debilitating injuries (and I wasn’t even playing football!). Safe to say I was left frustrated, confused, and feeling defeated in more ways than one.

After graduating from Rutgers College with a degree in Psychology, I began to scour the planet to get answers to many questions that the traditional model wasn't able to answer. I started engaging in many different alternative modalities and graduated from American Institute of Alternative Medicine. I became a Fellow of Applied Functional Science and then took a deep dive in nutritional science, biomechanics, bodywork, body movement science, lifestyle optimization, neuroscience, and meditation.

I studied and mentored with practitioners at the top of their game learning things like:

  • Injury and Rehabilitation
  • Nutritional Science
  • Sports Performance
  • Soft Tissue Therapy
  • Bio-mechanical Assessment & Treatment
  • Lifestyle Optimization for parents, business owners, entrepreneurs, corporate executives and more

I ran a clinic in Los Angeles, California for over 10 years and had people from all over the country flying in for support and tutoring. In 2016, I decided to follow my intuition, sold the entire establishment, jumped into my car with my son and two dogs and drove across the country and met my wife and daughter (who flew) in Southern Florida.

In addition to the 20 years of experience working with people inside of movement enhancement, rehabilitation, and nutritional optimization, I am a certified Practitioner in Modern Applied Psychology, and Certified in HeartMath Personal Resilience. I currently have full private practice, coaching and mentoring people to fulfill the outcomes and results they are looking to create in their relationships, career, health, and finances. In addition, I also continue to consult with health practitioners and athletes in need of injury prevention and rehabilitation.

I wrote down a mission statement and vision over 20 years ago and I’m glad I’m living it today that read:

“Empower individuals to experience a level of health and vitality
they didn’t realize was possible.”

As a culmination of my 20 years of experience, I recently co-founded a comprehensive lifestyle optimization curriculum. This curriculum is called The Arena Method. The Arena Method is inspired by the Teddy Roosevelt quote, "Man in the Arena." It is a personal and professional coaching curriculum designed to help you envision and create a meaningful and productive life.

Much Love,

Matthew LaBosco
